All our workshops have a strong focus on Positive Psychology and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). The goal of the workshops is to help recognise, understand and accept different emotions and to teach positive and effective ways to manage them. Children are encouraged to identify their individual strengths and develop social and emotional skills that contribute to positive relationships, resilience and overall mental health and well being.

We offer the following workshops to help you and your child;

For parents

Raising a child with a neurodevelopmental disorder (workshop for parents)

Emotion coaching – the heart of parenting (workshop for parents)

• The heart of parenting is to provide your child with skills that set him or her up for positive social      and emotional development – in childhood and beyond.
• This program will give you the tools you need to become an emotionally responsive parent, and in turn, will help you create emotionally intelligent children
• This interactive training includes 3 group sessions and 2 individual coaching sessions to get 
 tailor-made results.
• This program can also be facilitated for you exclusively. The process will be shortened to just the
 3 workshops, incorporating the individual coaching sessions

For children (up to 11 years old) and parents

How to handle anxiety?

In this two-hour workshop children attend, with their parents, to learn some of the following concepts;

• What is worry and anxiety
• How to use a Worry Ladder to help them manage everything that is going on in their mind
• How to put worries into perspective
• How to manage panic attacks

For teenagers (12 years and older)

Dealing with anxiety

This is a program of 4 workshops (2 hours each) for teenagers to learn some of the following concepts:

• What is worry and anxiety?
• The neuropsychology of anxiety
• How to put anxious thoughts into perspective
• How to manage anxious feelings and panic attacks
